One Step at a Time
For the love of exercise, just get up and do it already! Tough love doesn’t always work but hear me out. There are so many benefits of being active but sometimes, the hardest part is getting started. Here’s why you should start RIGHT NOW.
Why now?
You have to start somewhere. Yes, it will be challenging but in order to get from point A to point B, you have to start moving. Take account of where you are at and where you want to go.
Have you had your bloodwork done lately? Getting up and moving will help improve your health stats. You can lower your cholesterol levels, blood pressure, and many other pieces of your health that is connected to your well-being.
You’ll release endorphins. Adrenaline will increase your energy levels and the endorphins will push that happy feeling throughout your body.
With those endorphins pumping, you will have a sense of accomplishment. Think about how far you pushed yourself and all that you accomplished. No achievement is too small to be celebrated.
You’ll start a new routine. You may even begin to like what it brings to your day!
You don’t have to do it alone. There are so many out there that on similar journeys. Join an accountability group who can help motivate you when you aren’t feeling up to moving around.
My Tips
It will be hard. You will get stronger. It will get easier. Push yourself and remember what your purpose is, what your goal is. These will help motivate you to take it one step at a time.
You don’t know that you will fail. You won’t know how much you’ll success until you try! Take it day by day, one step at a time. You’ve got this!
One Step
The biggest hurdle is that first step. Sometimes that first step is rolling out of bed. Think about a baby taking their first steps. They are wobbly and unstable. No matter how many times they fall, they keep trying until they are running. Let the benefits outweigh the hardships.
You can get started today. Take that first step and move forward one step at a time.
